Garima Tewari Sharma is an Indian-Canadian designer and founder of luxury accessory label Garéma. Born in a traditional Indian business family, she had the drive to be an entrepreneur since childhood. Her parents & their modern upbringing inspired her to explore and discover the world on her own terms.

About Garima

After gaining her formal training in Interior design, Garima pursued summer design courses at the Domus Academy in MilanCentral Saint Martins in London.  As an Interior designer she designed a number of spaces including  nightclubs, spas, restaurants and residences.

She moved to Canada in 2013 and wanted to translate her passion for design into a product that led to the foundation of Garéma in 2015.Garima is a travel enthusiast who has visited over 22 countries , her designs are inspired by the cultural history, arts & architecture of places she has visited.

Garima is a winner of Fashion Your Future 2016 accessory designer program hosted by Toronto Fashion Incubator. She was also a 2017 Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards ( CAFA)  Swarovski emerging Talent in Accessories nominee.
